With an expressive, sensitive and benevolent direction allied to a lively and dynamic gesture, Simon Proust leads an active musician life which conducts important orchestras. He started his musical education as percussionist before his conducting master at "Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris". Simon Proust was assistant conductor of the Ensemble intercontemporain, "Conducting Fellow" at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and assistant conductor of Thomas Dausgaard and the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra.


"Talent ADAMI 2016", honored with a second prize at the "Princess Astrid International Music Competition" as well as at the "George Enescu Conducting Competition", Simon Proust is currently musical director of the "Orchestre des Jeunes du Centre" and pursues a career as guest conductor, defending a large repertoire.
